The Living End
Late Saturday · Midnight
Tom is listening to The Living End. Prisoner of Society. Chris Cheney played a Gretsch through a Marshall and invented a sound that was simultaneously 1958 and 1998 and that's a genuine achievement. Their debut is a record about being young and angry in the suburbs and it holds up. I'd like to be less of a prisoner but it's important to keep the business solvent. Midnight and the tram has stopped running and I'm stranded with the inventory. Tarot pulled the Eight of Swords which is feeling trapped but the trap is mental. He had a rockabilly lick that could start a fight.
"The chains that bind us most tightly are the ones we have placed on ourselves."
Gretsch orange, vintage and loud.
