Hunters & Collectors

Deep Thursday · 4am

Tom is listening to Hunters and Collectors. Throw Your Arms Around Me at volume. Mark Seymour understood that tenderness and brutality are the same muscle. 'Human Frailty' is one of the great Australian albums and it came out the same year as Neighbours so nobody noticed. I'd like to call someone but it's important to finish cataloguing these movements. Four in the morning and the city is making that low hum it makes and I'm emotionally threadbare. Coffee grounds looked like a map of somewhere I've never been. He had a horn section that hit like a fist.
