Transformative Tuesday · 2am
Tom is listening to Bill Callahan. Jim Cain. He writes in a voice that sounds like it has considered every word and rejected the unnecessary ones. 'Sometimes I Wish We Were an Eagle' is an album about transformation and it sounds like it. I'd like to be an eagle but it's important to be a watch dealer. Two in the morning and the eagle is metaphorical and the watch dealing is literal and I'm professionally grounded. Tea leaves looked like a bird in flight. He had a baritone that sounded like the land.
